NOTES

VX40 models have the Alpha processor and a fixed 256KB cache soldered onto the motherboard, VX41 and VX42 models have socketed Alpha processors and cache enabling owners to upgrade the system. 340MB and 528MB disks are 2.5" Toshiba drives, 1GB disks are 3.5" RZ26F Quantum drives with Digital firmware. Systems with 3.5" drives do not have an internal PCI slot available on the riser card.
